Six Easy Ways of Decency

Host social gatherings that leave the guests walking out happier than when they arrived.  Doing this will keep your social skills sharp, because believe me, we all need them.

Use anger to your advantage. Anger is your call to action. Don’t react; think about strategy and respond in a smart way.

Practice active listening.  This is the type of listening that happens when you aren’t thinking about your response while the other person is talking.  Active listening is key for successful communication.  Believe this: it’s worth it.

Never kick someone when they’re down.  This means paying attention to verbal and nonverbal cues, practicing empathy, and basically being a commendable human being.

Stop texting and pick up the phone.  Your relationships will thank you.

Wait as long as you want to get married,
just be realistic about the fact that at some point, the whole reproductive system thingy majigy will come to a head.  But still, getting married in one’s 30s is a good idea.  “Till death do us part” is a long time.
